Friday night saw us make our first trip to Bankside Vaults for London tech house night Avant Garde's latest offering. With an impressive lineup containing Swiss duo Adriatique, Aeon head honcho Alex Niggemann, and several other international techno protégés such as Denis Horvat, Speaking Minds and Amine K all housed inside the cathedral like chamber of the main room, this wasn't one to miss.

A strong start from Speaking Minds followed by Amine K set the tone nicely, followed by a melodic journey carried through with the trance-influenced breakdowns of Denis Horvat and Niggemann, until the much anticipated arrival of Adriatique. Fresh from their sets alongside Tale of Us at both Afterlife and Odyssey, the pair provided their trademark sounds together with a few newer, lighter offerings, as seems to be the current trend on the previously darker side of the techno scene. 

Great venue, solid lineup, keep the good work up.
